Although Frankenstein usually falls into other categories before it is considered a story of childbirth, those who read this work recognize an infants wail for its absent creator in the voice of the monster. We will be exploring this issue–and many other questions that the book drives to the surface–as we follow Victor Frankenstein across the frozen ice in his relentless pursuit of his progeny.
